Ashes of the Damned Main Easter Egg Guide

Overview

This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough for the 'Ashes of the Damned' Zombies Easter Egg.

Step 1: Initial Power & Vehicle Upgrade

Activate all three power switches in Ashwoods, Farm, and Blackwater. This involves clearing any spores and then interacting with the switches.
Once power is fully activated, proceed to the Ashwood garage.
Upgrade your Tessy vehicle with the Pack-A-Punch part at the Vehicle Upgrade Station.

Step 2: Collect Margwa Heads

Starting on Round 5 or later, enter the Diner area (Exit 115).
A special zombie will spawn. Kill it to obtain some keys.
Use the keys to open the freezer inside the Diner to find the Margwa Heads upgrade.
Return to the Ashwood garage and apply the Margwa Heads to your Tessy vehicle.

Step 3: Gather Serum Parts

Serum Part 1: Ravager Eyes

During a Ravager round (starting on Round 5+), use one of the traps (found in Farm or Diner) to kill a Ravager zombie.
The Ravager will drop its eyes. Collect them.

Serum Part 2: Hoard Husk Chunks

Drive your upgraded Tessy vehicle to the purple plants located in the drive-through areas between the main map zones.
Use the Margwa Heads ability on the purple plants to destroy them and collect the Hoard Husk Chunks.

Serum Part 3: Widowe's Lantern (Mushroom)

Locate the Jar of Spores in the Blackwater kitchen area.
Take the Jar of Spores to the Farm area and place it on the dead cow.
Survive three rounds, then return to collect the mushroom (Widowe's Lantern).

Serum Part 4: Human Bones

Go to the barn in the Farm area.
Throw a Tomahawk at the foot of the hanging body.
Once the foot falls, throw a Molotov at it to burn off the flesh and reveal the Human Bones. Pick them up.

Serum Part 5: Mysterious Limb

On Round 16, defeat a Berserker (bear) using the Maugwa Heads attached to your Tessy vehicle.
Collect the Mysterious Limb that the Berserker drops.

Serum Part 6: Powder of the Forgotten(Necrofluid Gauntlet Required)

Go to Ashwood and find the mirror. Activate the Whisp Tea perk in front of the mirror.
Use your Wonder Weapon on the mirror to break it. Pick up the chalk from the ground.

Step 4: Serum Lockdown

Proceed to the Cosmodrome lab. Interact with the powder in the bowl to reveal chalk on the wall with a code.
Translate the code using the provided alphabet.
Interact with the corresponding items in the golden bowls in the correct order as dictated by the translated code.
Add blood (interact with the prompt). This will initiate a lockdown where your health will not regenerate. Survive the lockdown.

Step 5: Collect the Three Keys

You need to find three keys (Red, Green, Yellow) hidden across different locations. Each key imparts a negative effect when picked up. You must use your Wonder Weapon's sucking ability to retrieve them.
**Red Key:** Found in the Orda Graveyard area (in dinosaur heads or behind a vehicle). Effect: No health regeneration. Take it back to Ashwoods and place it on the glowing triangle object.
**Green Key:** Found in the Grounded Ship area (in a window, under the ship, or on a shipping container). Effect: Cannot sprint. Take it back to Ashwoods and place it on the glowing triangle object.
**Yellow Key:** Found between the Cosmodrome and Ashwoods (on a downed pylon, near the Cosmodrome, or on a cliff). Effect: Melee weapon only. Take it back to Ashwoods and place it on the glowing triangle object.
Once all three keys are placed, a cutscene will play.

Step 6: Tesla Gun & Lightning Clock Challenge

After the cutscene, collect the Tesla part that appears. Return to the Ashwood garage and upgrade your Tessy vehicle with the Tesla Gun.
shoot the clock that has spawned in Ashwood with the Tesla Gun to turn it purple.
Shoot it with your wonder weapon and suck it up to turn it purple
Go to the Diner (Exit 115). On a round with lightning (there are three lightning colors: red, yellow, blue), shoot the clock on the Diner roof with the purple Wonder Weapon to freeze the lightning.
You'll need to complete three tasks related to the lightning:
**Red Lightning:** Ram your Tessy vehicle into the truck to open it and revive the trucker. Get the trucker follow you up to stand in the red lightning on the Diner rooftop.
**Yellow Lightning:** Spawn Klaus. Get Klaus to stand next to the downed mechanic in the garage , then lead him to the yellow lightning on the Diner rooftop.
**Blue Lightning:** Melee the cash register in the Diner to revive the woman. Get her to stand in the blue lightning on the Diner rooftop.
This step can only be done once per round for the clock and once every two rounds for the lightning tasks. It may take multiple attempts.

Step 7: Satellite Alignment & Rocket Launch

On the following round after completing the lightning challenge, return to Ashwood. Shoot the clock with the Tesla Gun to turn it purple, then use the Wonder Weapon to suck it up.
Take the launchpad to the Cosmodrome. Shoot the two spinning satellites with your purple Wonder Weapon to slow them down. Do this for both satellites. You will have to jump back and turn the weapon purple again for the 2nd one
After both satellites are slowed, the computer screens in the Cosmodrome control room will activate.
These screens will cycle through two letters at a time, spelling a six-letter word. Use the A=0, B=1, etc., translation key to understand the word. It can only be ENGINE, ROCKET, LAUNCH, or WEAPON.

When the screen displays the correct number for the current letter of the word you are spelling, shoot the red button on that screen. Repeat for all six letters.
This will initiate the rocket launch sequence.

Step 8: Farm Lockdown

Start Ritual:

Note the time on the clock in the Farm (9, 12, 3, or 6).
Stand on the corresponding marker on the floor .
Shoot the man's head with the purple gun when his eyes turn red .

Collect Items:

Teddy Bear (upstairs cabinet)
Item (garage craftable table)
Chalice (underground bathtub)
Item (barn corner)

Place the items outside on the 4 red circles then interact with one again to start a lockdown where you must defend all of them

Step 9: Projector Reels

On the next round, return to Ashwood. Shoot the clock with the Tesla Gun to turn it purple, then use the Wonder Weapon to suck it up.
Go to Blackwater. Go down to the docks area and interact with the light.
Shoot the projector inside the Blackwater building with your purple Wonder Weapon. It will cycle through four images (Fishing Cabin, Shed, Front of House, Back of House), showing the order for shooting projector reels.
You need to shoot the projector reels in Blackwater in the exact order displayed by the projector (locations include the fishing cabin, shed, front of the house, and back of the house).
Back of the house spawn is underneath the right side of the stairs
front of the house image is the reel up the stairs in the cabin, turn left, on the cabinet to the left of the large gramaphone
shed is inside the toolshed, on the metal rack

If done correctly, Klaus will spawn at the top floor near a bed. Interact with the box next to the bed. Klaus will pick up a piece.
Klaus will then make his way to the dock. Interact with him at the dock to start the boss fight encounter.

Step 12: Boss Fight

The boss fight takes place in a large arena.
To start make sure you have Tessy vehicle nearby.
You need to drive the truck to each section of the map, and run over the 3 white whisp things on the ground of the in between areas. after you do all 4 locations, youll automatically teleport to boss arena.
You can do damage to the boss occasionally he opens a crit spot , also driving the tessie into him opens his mouth
Shoot Tessy's mounted Tesla Gun into the boss's open mouth to deal damage. , guns also work
When the boss becomes immune, drive Tessy into the glowing light that spawns in the arena. then drive it into the boss. This will break its immunity.
Drive Tessy into the boss again. Once its mouth opens, shoot the Tessy Tesla Gun into its mouth.
Repeat this process until the boss is defeated. Good luck, as this boss fight is difficult!
