Overview

Step 1: Acquire the Fertilizer Part
- In the 'Ashes of the Damned' survival map, locate one of the fertilizer parts. These are found in multiple locations.
- One such location is upstairs in the barn, nestled next to a hay bale.

- collect the fumigator.
Step 2: Locate and Spray Hidden Plants
- Once you have the fertilizer, you gain the ability to spray special plants.
- These plants are small, green, and hidden throughout the map.

- Approach a plant and spray it to begin a small 30-second lockdown event.

Step 3: Defend the Plant from Zombies
- During the 30-second lockdown, you must defend the plant from incoming zombies. Eliminate all threats to ensure the plant's survival.
Step 4: Collect Your Rewards
- If you successfully defend the plant, it will grow and then explode.

- The exploding plant will drop free loot, which can include equipment, guns, points, and salvage.

Boosted Loot Quality: Activate Toxic Growth
The key to this is using the Toxic Growth field upgrade. This ability will mature the Aether plant faster, dramatically reducing the wait time for loot, and increasing the quality.
- Equip the Toxic Growth field upgrade.
- Place the Toxic Growth directly onto or very close to the plant.
- Observe as the Toxic Growth is deployed on the plant.
Once the Toxic Growth is deployed, it will reward an impressive amount of high-quality loot. This bypasses the normal slow growth process entirely.
- Watch as the Aether plant instantly matures, indicated by a vibrant purple glow.
The plant quickly transforms and starts glowing purple.- Harvest the fully grown plant.
- You will receive significantly better rewards, such as purple Aetherium crystals, Pack-A-Punch crystals, and substantial salvage and points.
See the purple Aetherium crystals and other valuable loot drop from the plant.
Repeat the Process (Optional)
For even more loot, you can repeat this process. The Aether plants can be reset and used again if you advance to the next round.
- Progress to the next round after collecting your loot.
- The same Eefer plant can be utilized again with Toxic Growth in the new round.
- This allows for continuous farming of high-tier loot, making it an extremely efficient method.
